What you must know!

With the KM 6520 FR ceramic hob by Miele, everyday cooking takes on another dimension! With a total width of 57,4cm and 4 cooking zones, you have as much space as you need to use even the largest utensils in your kitchen. Each zone has overheating protection and automatically shuts off. In addition, thanks to the innovative Stop&Go function, the hobs can be operated even without any supervision.

Safety switch-off

A maximum duration of operation is set for each tier. When a cooking zone operates at the same power level for an unusually long time, it switches itself off automatically.

Security and system lock

The safety lock prevents the accidental setting of the levels during cooking. System lock protects against accidental or unauthorized activation, e.g. from children. This function can be activated while the device is off.

Absolute safety

Miele hobs have a residual temperature indicator for each cooking zone. It reminds you not to touch the hot cooking zone and not to place heat-sensitive objects on it. It also allows you to take advantage of the residual temperature and save energy.

Stop & Go

Are they knocking on your door? With the Stop&Go function, all cooking zones can be lowered to level one at the touch of a button. In this way, the hob can be left unattended for a short time, without the food being overcooked or burnt. When you return to the hearth, all the hearths are reactivated to their previous tier, again at the touch of a button.

Overheating protection and fault monitoring

Each cooking zone has overheating protection. It automatically switches off the cooking zone resistance in case of excessive use, before the ceramic or other components overheat. If liquid or something else accidentally falls on the surface, the hob switches itself off again automatically. This way you are always protected from accidental level setting.

Automatic pre-heating

This Miele automatic setting lowers the heat from its initial setting (for quick preheating) to a lower temperature (for continued cooking). That way you won’t forget to lower the heat in time and the food won’t burn. It also saves energy.

Programmable options

The basic fireplace settings can be adjusted to your personal preferences. For example, the response speed of the touch keys can be changed.

Timer

The hob timer helps facilitate everyday kitchen use. For example, you can independently set the duration of the cooking zones so that they turn off automatically or use the kitchen timer independently of the functions of the hob.

Recall function

Did you turn off the stove without meaning to, but did you realize it right away? If you restart it within 10 seconds all power levels and time settings you previously selected will still be available. Your cooking process continues without interruption.
